Since starting as a women-centered WhatsApp community and monthly gatherings in August 2025, Limina has grown into a broader movement of events, one-to-one guidance, business support, and volunteer-led initiatives.
Flagship Event
Two-Day Eid & Community Celebration — Ajax, May 2026
A two-day Eid and community celebration bringing together people from Afghan, Arab, Pakistani, Indian, and other cultural backgrounds, and creating meaningful opportunities for small businesses and community members to connect. The event also provided a platform to raise awareness about the rights and freedoms of Afghan women and girls.

Limina’s grassroots work has demonstrated what can happen when community members are given a place to participate rather than simply receive support.
